Families,

It is that time of the swim season where we are preparing for invitationals and qualifications for the invitationals.  Below are hyperlinks to the meet announcements and the time standards for Trinity and Ponderosa Invitationals that the Waves are participating in this year. 

We understand some of you are patiently waiting for the times from the BTA Summer Champs meet to post to Swimtopia to aid in qualifications for those events.  They will eventually be posted, but they were having technical difficulties this weekend that we are waiting for them to sort through at this time.  Using Meet Mobile from that meet for results and the attached time standards you can plan for what events you can register your swimmer(s) for this weekend's divisional meet and the Invitationals.  

We understand your child(ren) may qualify for the invitationals at the divisional meet this Saturday and we absolutely intend to make use of those times to allow your kids to compete at the highest level and represent the waves at those events; however, please submit your entries ASAP for the events that you can enter before 6pm Friday.  For those of you that have extra qualifications after this Saturday morning's divisional meet we can work together to adjust and add those entries.  Please do not wait until the last minute for entries.  We do not have the same luxuries for these invitationals as an average meet for late entries.  I don't want your swimmers to miss out.

LAST THING

For divisionals on Saturday, there are three shifts of volunteers needed for those of you that are attending.  If your child is swimming, you need to volunteer.  There will be 38 jobs in total and three different shifts as follows: Events 1 - 30, Events 31-56, Events 57-86.  Please read the descriptions closely as to what your responsibilities will be.
