First off, thank you to all the volunteers and swimmers that helped us put together another great fundraiser. The swim-a-thon is one of our best events of the season as it really goes to the heart of what this swim team means to us: family. 

This year we raised $9,016 for the Bartlett Cancer Research Fund in the memory of Haley Burns, who recently lost her battle with the horrible disease of appendix cancer. We hope that in some way, our contribution might be able to help in Dr. Bartlett's fight for both life extending treatments and hopefully one day, a cure.  

The winners this year for the most money raised are Kyle Burns, Nathan Bird and Claire Webb. Additionally, the winners for most laps Nathan Bird (224), Christopher Reiber (222) and Maddie Bullen (200). The winners will all receive gift cards from Sonic to show our appreciation for their hard work in the form of a cool drink or sweet treat this summer.
